Long time no blogging!!

I have been really busy sewing on some bags for a friend and have not had anything new to post. Market street was not so good this year. I think it was too hot and there were several other functions going in other areas at the same time. Oh well! I am posting pictures of the bags I did for my friend for all of the bridesmaids in her son's wedding. They turned out really cute. Her wedding colors are navy blue and pink, so they wanted a bag they could use later, but also as a gift bag to put all of the other goodies in and this is what I came up with.

Handpainted Handles

These purses have wood handles that were cut out, sanded, and painted. Thanks Alan for all your help. This is something new I'm trying, selling for $20 each. You can see these Saturday @ Market Street. Thanks! Have a great weekend!

Gearing up for Market Street

Salad Anyone??

This is my latest creation. I will have several to choose from at Market Street this weekend, May 5th. These are lime green salad tongs that I have added some beads and wire to. This picture doesn't really do them justice--they are much cuter!! I have the tongs in several colors blue, orange, lime, and bamboo. $10 for the set!! Great gifts!!!

ICECREAM & PICKLES

Gotcha wondering huh?? My friend Katie came up with this name a while back. I have been trying to upload a picture, but I am having some technical difficulty with that, the picture just comes up black. Anyway, this is the essential item every mom and mom-to-be must have............
DIAPER BAG!!!! This is a large bag because we all know you never know what you might need while out with a baby!! My sister taught me about this when her 2 girls came along, and trust me it is better to have too many things in that bag than to be without it!! I have made several of these bags for friends, and relatives and they have all been different. One of my most popular is the Camoflauge bag with orange monogram (for baby girls too)--this one will allow "Daddy" to tote the bag and still feel macho. Always good to have "Daddy Diaper bag" and a"Mommy diaper bag"--I really did that for a friend of mine!! The John Deere Tractor on denim fabric has been my 2nd most requested, also have done a princess theme, butterflys, frogs, poodles, too many to list. You get the idea any way.
